Happy St. Pat's

So it's St. Patricks day, and everyone is out drinking in celebration of a saint. If this is how we celebrate saints, how come everyone doesn't get bombed on Christmas or Easter? It would only make sense. Hank the drunken angry dwarf would agree.

I picked up my server from the post office today :]
It's a cobalt raq 3.
It's sort of old, but will run a php game w/ mysql backend very easily. It is cheap and is easy to maintain. Now to get it setup before Oblivion comes out. Because everything is going to slow down after that. *drool*


I made a 3-paperclip Irish flag tribute today at work.

Funky Weather

Two days ago it was in the high 70's, today it was snowing on the way in to work. It's been ridiculous. I put on my sunglasses when I got in the car because it was super bright outside (like HDR lighting). Then I took them off halfway there, because the sun went away. Less than a minute after that it was snowing big 'ol flakes. This was in the span of about 15 minutes.

I've been working on an online rpg by the name of "Agent of Chaos". It's similar to that of Torn City or Eternal Duel. I hope for it to be better than those two, but I have to start small, or the project will get away from me.


I'm trying to get a lot done this week, because Oblivion comes out next week. It will drive me to seclusion from the outside world for sure. Mmmm look at that foresty goodness. And look how good that bark looks, who knew virtual tree bark was so exciting? Not I!






Oooh and shadows and specular lighting and shiny things! I love shiny things, who doesn't.

So like I was saying, I've been working on my game, and I'm putting together the administration parts so I can have a good overview of what is going in with players inside the game. I figured that will be important come time for alpha/beta testing. I won't share any links for it quite yet, as it's much too soon and it's ugly. Bleh!

I'll send out an item today for my Interoffice fun game. I'll teach you about it next update.

1st post... Again

So I started this blog awhile back, and moved it to another spot. I am starting over again here for now and we'll see how it goes. Tomorrow will be a real post.
